Obituary

Dr Jack Edward LaManna Born on May 7th, 1956 in Dallas, Texas and passed away December 2nd, 2015 in Plano, Texas. Loved by family and friends; Jack was a loving husband, father, son & brother. He loved taking care of his patients. He also loved taking care of his family and had a special place in his heart for his grandkids. In his downtime he enjoyed taking care of his tomatoes and peppers and if he had a chance to travel to the coast he enjoyed salt water fishing. Jack graduated high school in 1974 from Cistercian Preparatory school, Irving Texas. Following graduation Jack attended Texas A&M University in College Station, Tx and was a member of the 1978 class of Fightin Texas Aggies and graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Biology. From 1988-1992 Jack studied at Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine, and completed his D.O. in May 1992. He then completed his family practice residency at Tri City Hospital, Dallas Texas in 1994. In July of 1995 he began his practice at Jefferson Clinic in Dallas. Jack was an active board member for Dallas Southwest Osteopathic Physician Charity since 2006. Jack married his college love, Catherine Biediger in College Station, Texas on June 3rd 1978. They moved to Baltimore Maryland in 1979, and together welcomed their first son Anthony in March 1983. In 1986, they returned to Texas to be with their families. Jack and Cathy later welcomed another son, James in June of 1992 and daughter Christina in November of 1996. Jack is survived by his wife Cathy, Son Anthony and wife Ashley, and granddaughters Madison, Sienna, and Kinley. Son James and girlfriend Jessica, and Daughter Christina. His Parents Joseph and Evelyn LaManna, Brother Joe LaManna and wife Louise, and nephew Joseph. Sister Lisa and husband Peter Boucher, and their children. Finally family pets Cha Cha, Jackie, and Shadow. Funeral Mass to be held: Saturday, December 12th, at 11am. Prince of Peace Catholic Church 5100 W.
