Leslie Olubumi Thomas, 59, of Dallas TX passed away May 14, 2018. He was born on April 23, 1959 to George and Drucilla Thomas in Freetown, Sierra Leone. In 1985, he left his Homeland in Africa to further his education in Journalism in the United States. Leslie attended Bishop College where he met and fell in love with an American woman named, April Harris; whom he eventually married in 1987. To this union was born two beautiful children; Jean- Marcus "Dante" Thomas, 30, and Nadia-Ann Thomas, 28. Leslie Thomas was a devoted employee of Signature Care Garments for 30 years. He is survived by his son Jean-Marcus "Dante" Thomas, his daughter Nadia-Ann Thomas, granddaughter, Jordan April Thomas, mother, Drucilla Thomas, and five siblings: George Jr., Henry, Cyril, Margaret, and Marionette. Leslie is preceded in death by his lovely wife, April Thomas, father George Thomas Sr., and other family members. Leslie will be missed by all that knew him.
