Lewis Larry Stovall was born on June 15, 1931 in Fort Worth, Texas. He died shortly after his 91st birthday on June 23, 2022. He graduated from Texas School for the Deaf in Austin, Texas. The school was founded in 1856 and is the oldest continuously operating public school in Texas. He was among an elite group named to their Hall of Fame. The Dallas Cowboys, University of Texas Longhorns, and Texas Rangers were his favorite teams. A Celebration of his Life will be held on Saturday, July 9, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. in the main sanctuary at Hope Fellowship, 9950 Rolater Rd., Frisco, TX 75035 with a reception in the northeast hall afterward until 12:30 p.m. He was predeceased by his parents Lawrence and Lelia Stovall, his wife, Joan Stovall, and his son, Sonny Stovall. He leaves behind his brothers, Philip and Jimmy Stovall, and sister, Beverly Smith. Survived by his daughters, Cindy Wolf (husband Bob), Lisa Preston, Sheri Stearns (husband Mark), and step-daughter, Cindy Ledford (husband Roger), grandchildren, Kristopher Keith, Kory Keith, Kerry Keith, John Preston, Alex Preston, Conner Preston, Ryan Christianson, and Amanda Christianson. His step-grandchildren, Racheal Wilson, Josh Taylor, Dora England, Charles Taylor, great-grandchildren, Emily Keith, Kristopher Keith, Jr., Cooper Preston, Audrey Preston, Evelyn Keith, Kameron Keith, and Alex Keith, and 9 step-great-grandchildren.
