Lynda K. Walker, born on May 13, 1949, in the heart of Commerce, Texas, graced this world with her vibrant spirit and boundless love until November 6, 2024. At the age of 75, she left us, but her legacy of joy and warmth remains alive in the hearts of all who knew her.

Lynda was a woman of many passions. Her culinary skills were unmatched, filling homes with the comforting aroma of her delightful dishes. She found joy in the uplifting melodies of gospel music and could often be found playing Elvis tunes, clapping along with infectious enthusiasm. Board games with family and friends were not just a pastime for her; they were cherished moments of laughter and connection. Her deep love for animals showcased her compassionate heart, and her home was always open to those she loved, creating a sanctuary of joy and togetherness.

Lynda is now reunited with her beloved parents, her husband Don, her brother-in-law Curtis, and her sister Peggy, but she continues to live on in the fond memories of her sister Margie Shaw, her niece Sheryl Shaw Dubois, her nephew Greg Shaw, her brother-in-law Charles Carothers, her niece Lori Carothers, and countless friends and extended family.

In honoring Lynda's memory, her family encourages us all to celebrate the beautiful moments we shared with her. Let us hold onto the laughter, the music, and the delicious meals that brought us together. Instead of a memorial service, they ask that we treasure the happy memories of her life, allowing her spirit to inspire us to live fully, love deeply, and embrace each moment with joy. Lynda's light will continue to shine brightly in our hearts, guiding us to cherish the connections we make and the memories we create.
