Steven L. Linder, MD Steven L. Linder, M.D., devoted husband, father & friend to many, passed into the Lord's care after a valiant battle with cancer on June 10th 2015. Born on May 8, 1945 in Elgin, Illinois, Steve was the son of the late Virgil and Katherine Kinney Linder. Steve is survived by his wife & best friend of 40 years, Cathy Linder, his daughter, Heather Linder Blackmar, of Houston, son-in-law, Bruce Blackmar, three grandchildren; Steven Blake Blackmar, Brooke Patricia Blackmar and Brynne Catherine Blackmar, brothers; Richard Linder, of Palm Desert California, and David Linder, of Saint Charles, Illinois, and his wife, Jeaninne, and nephews;
