George L. Lokey III, age 64, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, December 30, 2018 after a long battle with cancer. He is preceded in death by his parents, George L. Lokey Jr. and Carrie J. Lokey. George is survived by his wife, Diane, son, Ken Kramer and wife Kimberly, and two grandsons, Jacob and Michael Kramer, granddaughter Brielle Addison, great-grandson Jonah Addison, sisters Laura Greger and husband Larry, Carrie Henkle and husband Terry, and numerous nephews, nieces, and great-nephews and great-nieces. George was born on January 29, 1954 in Dallas, TX. He graduated from Bryan Adams High School in 1972 and Stephen F. Austin University in 1976 with a political science and accounting degree. George loved playing his saxophone in his high school band as well as being a member of the Lumberjack Band at SFA. George worked for 20+ years as a CA for REI/BancTec, where he met the love of his life, Diane. They were married 18 years. George loved being able to say he was a native Texan! A memorial service will be held Monday, January 7, 2019 at 3 pm at Aria Funeral Home, 19310 Preston Rd, Dallas, TX 75252. The family is greatly appreciative of all the love, prayers, and support from many friends and family. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in George's name to any charity of your choice.
