Lorinda Kathryn Rider VanBuskirk Geddes, age 80, of Wylie, Texas, passed away on May 4th, 2022, after a 1 ½ year battle with cancer.

"Lori" was born on April 12th, 1942 to George Price and Ann M. Rider in Syracuse, New York.

She was an avid reader and enjoyed shopping, traveling, fishing, and working on her genealogy in her spare time.

"Lori" is survived by her husband, James Michael Geddes, daughters Rhonda Grafton (Vidal Garcia), and Bonnie McDermott (Jon Young), son Michael (Tammy) VanBuskirk, 8 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. She also leaves behind 2 step daughters, Michelle (Derk) Wallace and Kim (Jasyn) Marchand, 6 step grandchildren and 6 step great grandchildren. "Lori" is also survived by her only sibling, Carol (Duane) White and her former husband, Ronald Lee VanBuskirk.

There will be a private celebration of life ceremony for family and members of Lori's and Jim's church.
