The Fullness of Luz Pinero Thompson's Life

Luz passed away in the early hours of Aug. 31, 2024.

Luz is survived by her

Husband of 27 years, Stanford Neil Thompson,

Maria E. Pinero, Sister

Yvette Rosado, Niece,

Robert A Pinero, Nephew,

Delilah Williamson Pinero,

David L Pinero, Nephew,

David, Daniel, Skylar Pinero, Great nephews and Great nieces.

Felin Colon her aunt and her Cousin Marta Ortiz.

and many longstanding, loyal and caring friends.

Luz was preceded in death by her parents,

Roberto Pinero, Maria Magdalena Pinero, and her brother Angel Luis Pinero.

Luz was born in Naguabo Puerto Rico on June 16, 1955 and raised in New Jersey.

Met the Love of her life husband Niel on the Caribbean Sea.

Married on July 2, 1997 for 27 years, until her last breath.

Moved to Florida, and later made their residence in Grand Prairie, TX.

Family was the center of Luz's life.

She also made friends wherever she went and cherished these friendships her entire life.

Luz was a dedicated volunteer, Lover of Truth,

Associate Pastor of Peace Grace & Mercy Word of Faith Center

Teacher of the Word of God, @ PGM Faith.org,

Chaplain Instructor & counselor with "Ambassadors of The King"

at Casa del Rey Association.

A Real Estate Agent with Ultra Real Estate Services.

Luz pursued her education in Child Psychology

always committing her time and talents to many charitable causes.

Luz was loved, respected and honored at her church where she taught, counseled and ministered.

A memorial service and reception will be held at 3:15 p.m., Saturday,  Sept. 14, 2024, at North Dallas Funeral Home,

2710 Valley View Lane, Farmers Branch, TX  75234.
