Dorothy "Dotty" Mackinnon, 85, of Far North Dallas died Wednesday, August 7, 2013 at Medical City of Dallas. She was born on March 26, 1928 in New York City, New York to the late Ernest and Helen Afonso. She loved to travel and enjoyed the finer things in life. Dotty loved her Scotties and enjoyed to read and garden. She was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin Greening and son, John Mackinnon. She is survived by her loving daughter, Claudia Jackson of Dallas; stepdaughter, Jenny Gaul of South Africa; one sister; four grandchildren, Gregory, Loretta, Harry, and Janelle; 5 Great Grandchildren, Kylah, J'Naya, Destinne, Sierra, Justin and a future great grandbaby who will appear sometime in October; one very special sister and beloved friend, Sandra Bukovac and many other loving friends. Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 P.M., Monday, August 12, 2013 at ARIA Memorial Chapel.
