The beloved and one-of-a-kind Marita Blair Snyder passed away peacefully on March 22, 2026, at the age of 91.

She was the daughter of Mabel Frances Blair (née Jones) and Wesley Alexander Blair, Jr., and was preceded in death by her brother, Dale Baker Blair.

Marita is survived by her sisters, Susan (Don Smith) and Julia Blair; her daughters, Donna McGraw (Frank Igo) and Blair McWay (Michael); her grandchildren, Taylor McGraw, Corey McGraw, Pace McWay, and Drew McWay (Paige); and three great-grandchildren.

Marita never met a person she didn't consider a friend.

She was a tennis enthusiast, an avid and gifted painter, a passionate gardener, a dedicated genealogist, and the co-creator of the business Plants with Love. Marita also possessed a wealth of aesthetic, historical, and esoteric knowledge that few could rival. She gave one hundred percent of herself to her passions and strived to make life better for everyone she encountered. Whether through her efforts to enhance their lives with optimal nutrition or by sharing her sheer enthusiasm, she often succeeded in making others' "Eyes sparkle and shine".

Services were held in her hometown of Brooklyn, Alabama, on Mother's Day, May 10, 2026.
