Mark Contreras was born on September 12, 1964, and passed away unexpectedly on November 22, 2023 at the age of 59. Mark was born and raised in San Antonio, TX to parents Henry Contreras, Sr. and Mary Contreras. He graduated from Robert E. Lee High School in 1982. Mark moved to Minnesota for several years before ultimately relocating to Dallas in the early 90's where he met his wife, Michelle. Mark and Michelle built a life in Dallas and have two beautiful daughters, Abigail (Abby) and Sabrina.
Mark gained leadership skills which led him to starting his own business, Chandeliers Plus, where he worked as a skilled electrician for the past 23 years.
Mark cherished being a father and loved spending time with the girls whether it was coaching them in sports, cheering them on, or helping them change a flat tire.
Mark loved his friends and family and was certainly loved by them. He is remembered as a loving husband, father and friend, a hard worker, fiercely protective over those he loved and was the life of the party - always making people laugh. When Mark walked in a room full of strangers, he walked out with several friends. He enjoyed watching soccer, the Denver Broncos, taking photos everywhere he went and riding his motorcycle.
Mark is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Michelle and their two daughters, Abby and Sabrina. He is also survived by his brothers Randy (Vicky) and Hank and sister Rhonda (Eddie) and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
A private service to honor Mark is being planned for after the holidays for close friends and family. Please reach out to family for the details.
