Marlys Jean Lindquist passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 3rd, at the age of 89. Marlys was a beautiful woman who lived a happy life. She met her husband Edward in childhood when they lived across the street from each other in Chicago. Marlys married Edward in 1962. She is survived by her daughter Sheryl and husband Rob, her son Dave, her son Tom and wife Nia, her sister-in-law Anita Petersen and children Carol and Greg, and four wonderful grandchildren, Megan, Will, Zach, and Aayla. Marlys was predeceased by her husband Edward, her father Roy Petersen, her mother Gretchen Petersen, her brother Ronnie, and her nephew Bruce. Marlys and Edward enjoyed many adventures together including boating and traveling together to many destinations, most notably Hawaii and the many stops they made on the ocean cruises that they loved. Marlys loved to spend her time on crafts, knitting, and other hobbies. Mom, we, your family and friends, are all going to miss you so very much. We are so grateful for the happy times that we spent together. This isn't goodbye, it's until we see you again. Until then, enjoy your time with Edward, and please remember how much we all love you.
