Martha Celia Medina, 63, passed away on March 1st, 2018, in the comfort of her home surrounded by her entire family that loves her so much. Martha was born on September 11, 1954, in Laredo, to Jesus Najera & Adela Medina along with her 11 brothers and sisters (Esperanza Najera, Jose Najera, Raquel Najera, Julia Najera, Jesus Najera, Kochil Najera, Rosa Najera, Gabriela Najera, Elizabeth Najera, Adriana Najera and Arturo Najera.) In 1974, Martha moved from her hometown of Laredo with her son Jesus Medina to the DFW metroplex in search of a better opportunity. She ultimately settled in Dallas and with much adulation had three more amazing children, Julian, Maria and Martha Medina she adored very much. She also continued to be a longtime Dallas resident for the next 44 years where she worked and happily provided for her family until her passing. Marthas favorite things to do were watching her novelas and tending & listening to her birds she loved very much. Her most favorite thing of all to do was going to the casino which she happily enjoyed by herself or with family when she had the chance. Martha Medina is survived by her beloved husband (Carlos Garay) her wonderful children; Sons (Jesus Medina, Julian Medina), Daughters (Maria Medina, Martha Medina), her loving grandchildren (Jesus Medina Jr, Lisa Medina, Angel Medina, Ashley Gatson, Floyd Gatson, Alexis Medina, Vanessa Medina, Brandon Medina, Elijah Garcia, Julian Medina, Carlos Medina, Julie Medina, Makayla Medina, Damian Medina, Savannah Medellin.), amazing great grandchildren ( Kaden, Ta'Niah, Melissa, Ritchie, Amelia, A'mari) and devoted Daughter-in-law (Teresa Hanley), Son-in-law (Sammy Medellin), Daughter-in-law (Rosie Garcia) and Granddaughter-in-law (Daisy Huerta). Martha wasn't only a great person, but a magnificent Mother, Daughter, Sister, Grandma, Great Grandma and dedicated friend. She leaves behind a big wonderful family that will love and miss her forever. "Te vamos a querer y extrañar para siempre."
