She was born July 23, 1933, in Wellington to P.K. "Joe" and Alice (Shore) Nail. She married Marvin L. Martin on Nov. 27, 1968. He died Sept. 7, 2000.

Survivors: two sons, Bill (Susan) Hedgpeth, Fairview, and Terry (Sabrena) Martin, Bella Vista, Ark.; daughter, Tammy (Kurt) Shaw, Hillsboro, Kan.; nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

A brother, John Nail, preceded her in death.

Graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 25, at Canton Township Cemetery. There will be no visitation.

A memorial has been established with the McPherson County Humane Society, in care of Olson's Mortuary, Canton.
