Ibsen Martinez born in Jiguani Oriente, Cuba to parents Amparo Matos and Jose Martinez Chavez, passed away on August 14, 2015. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Isabel Isis Gregorich, and infant daughter, Amparito. Ibsen was a very family oriented man. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He was a very hard working, strict, and straight forward man. There was nothing he wouldn't do for his family. His hobbies were spending time with his family, as well as making glass artwork. Ibsen is survived by his children, Cecilio Martinez and wife Elsa; Rafael Martinez and wife Glenea; Moises Martinez; Isabel Gracia; Camilo Martinez; Josu Martinez and wife Estela Ramos; Jose Martinez and wife Lucy; Rebeca Alpizar and husband Joel; Isis Martinez and husband Baudilio Tavarez. Grandchildren, Karen Martinez, Marvin Martinez, Melissa Martinez, Genea Rodriguez, Marcus Martinez, Gylissa Martinez, Elizabeth Martinez, Moises Martinez, Dennis Martinez, Ibsen Martinez, Anaisis Martinez, Ananka Rocha, Anay Wolverton, Emily and Joseph Martinez, Daniel Ibsen Garcia, and Carmen Isis Corona. A visitation will be held on Saturday, August 22, 2015 from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm. A service will follow immediately after the visitation, at North Dallas Funeral Home, 2710 Valley View Lane, Dallas, Texas 75234.
