It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Mary Theresa Hudson Hahnel.

She was born September 11, 1958, in San Francisco, California and passed away January 3, 2025, in Dallas, Texas.

She was the oldest child of John and Dolores Hudson. She leaves behind her father John Hudson, husband Mike, her children, David, Steven, Lauren, and Bryan, her brothers Anthony and Michael, her sisters Adrianne and Sonia, and grandchildren, Jackson, Orion and Grace.

Mary was preceded in death by her mother Dolores, grandmother Sofia and brother Alvin. Mary also leaves her extended family members, whom she loved deeply. They will always remember her as "Mamie".

Mary loved Jesus, and was extremely thankful for her son Steven, for deepening her faith and understanding of God.

In her early to mid 20's, Mary got to experience so many adventures with her husband Mike and was grateful to him for making her life so exciting. She was an amazing conversationalist and listener. She could talk to anyone she came across and always came back with tidings of their lives. Mary was a friendly, generous woman, who was willing to lend a hand and support others as much as she could. She enjoyed family gatherings, taking trips with loved ones and would live it up when she went to the casinos.

Mary appreciated when family members would call just to see how she was doing, and all the love they had for her. She had an amazing strength that got her through so many obstacles. Her inspiring fight she carried in her heart, will forever be admired.

Mass and reception services will be held Wednesday, February 12, 2025, at 10A.M, at Saint Marks Catholic Church in Plano.
