Obituary

Mary Harris, known for her compassionate spirit and dedicated love for her family, embarked on her heavenly journey on Sunday, March 8, 2026. Born on February 21, 1943, in Timpson, TX, Mary was a spirited woman who lived her life with a deep sense of love and service, embodying the verses from the Book of Proverbs, "She speaks with wisdom, and faithful instruction is on her tongue (Proverbs 31:26) "Honor her for all that her hands have done, and let her works bring her praise at the city gate (Proverbs 31:31)

Mary spent most of her career as a Lead CD Machine Operator at Disctronics in Plano, TX, before retiring in 2008. She was reliable and hardworking, always setting an inspiring example for her colleagues. In her retirement, she found joy in simple pleasures like cooking, gardening, reading, and grilling. She was known for her witty humor, her supportive nature, and her humility. Mary valued her family above everything else, showing them her love in every meal she prepared, and every story she shared.

Mary is survived by her loving daughters, Patricia Thomas (Marcus), Letonia Green, Stacy Dennis (Dwayne), Tracy Harris; her siblings, Sandra Watkins, Nora Earl (Ray), Clifton Bell Jr.(Janice), Jerry Bell (Tracy); sister-in-law Paulett Barron; her grandchildren, Nicholas Harris (Tamar), Brittany Richardson (Colby), Phillip Green II, Blake Mckinzie, Gabrielle Hill (Quinton), and her great-grandchildren, Harper Richardson, Rowen Mckinzie, Olivia Richardson, Emory Mckinzie, and Ember Mckinzie.

Mary was preceded in death by her husband Albert Harris Jr., daughter, Teresia Harris, father, Clifton Bell Sr., mother, Elnora Bell, and her brothers, Charles Barron, Oscar Bell, Artic Bell, and Thurman Bell.

A memorial service in celebration of Mary's life will take place on Saturday, March 21, 2026, at 2:00pm CST at Aria Cremation Service & Funeral Home, located at 19310 Preston Road, Dallas, Texas, 75252. If sending flowers please send to Aria.
