Obituary

Mary Louise Jefferson was born December 24, 1931, the late Alex and Leila Wright in Union Town, Alabama. She attended Perry County Training School. Mary accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at the First Baptist Church in Union Town. She met and married the Love of her life in Cleveland Ohio, the late Phillip Jefferson (10-22-24). She worked at Hadley Memorial Hospital and retired as a Dietitian Assistant. She loved being with family and her favorite thing to do was to spend time with her daughter, grandsons and great granddaughters - they were her absolute Pride and Joy and everything she lived for! Talk about a funny lady who would snap you up in a New York minute, without a moment's notice. To know her was to love her witty, snappy personality, a true diamond in the rough! She was sweet and demure but ohhhhh could she as Phillicia would often say "get with Chu in a moment's notice". After keeping the faith and a brief valiant fight with her pain and health declining, Mary departed this life on Saturday June 6, 2026, to rest eternally in her heavenly home. Mary leaves to cherish her amazing life, her only child, her beloved daughter, Phillicia Yavette Bryant, Grandsons Sean Phillip Bryant, Nicolas Gordon Bryant, Daughter In Loves Jasmin Bryant, Brittney Morgan, Great Granddaughters Kyah Renee 10, Keyari Sanae 7. Mila Presley 4. Also leaving in love and respect of her Memory is a host of Nieces and nephews, cousins, great friends and loved ones. A Special mention must be given to Mira Renee Wright who was like a daughter, Barbara Ann Lacey and Lilton Poindexter Jr. and Lamar Jackson who were much like sons. A special mention must also be shared for her extended family, whom she Loved so very dearly as her own blood - Charles L Estes, Glad L Williams, Benita Woodson, Jeremiaus Evans, Tamara Patterson, Shona Coleman, Tammy Jeffcoat, Alicia Yancy, Dee Jones, Molly Neault and Genet Rosborough among many others. REST IN PEACE - JOB WELL DONE
