Mary Carole Snyder, known as MC to her friends, passed away in her sleep at home in Dallas, Texas on May 12, 2026. She was born on February 21, 1940 in Toledo, Ohio to Paul and Anna Juhasz. She is survived by her sister Joanne McGinnis and brother-in-law Larry of Tiffin, Ohio, son Matthew and daughter-in-law Bettina of Dallas, Texas. She was preceded in death by her husband John Snyder.

MC loved teaching art and making pottery. She also loved collecting contemporary art with her husband John and had a small gallery in her home. She was a member and regular visitor at The Toledo Museum Of Art, The Dallas Museum Of Art and The Nasher Sculpture Center.

Fashion was always a part of her life from modeling clothes in Toledo to shopping for the latest trends at Northpark Mall in Dallas. She also made costume jewelry as a hobby and started selling it at shows.

MC's remains will be cremated and interred by family privately according to her wishes.
