We are deeply saddened by the loss of our dear husband, father, brother and friend. He will be remembered for his deep love for family, gentle spirit and integrity. He was born 2/12/1934 and entered eternal life 5/4/2015. He graduated from Highland Park H.S. in 1951 and SMU in 1955. He then entered Air Force pilot training and retired from the Reserve in 1978 with the rank of Lt. Colonel. He was a pilot for Braniff Airlines from 1966 to 1981 as well as having a second career as a commercial real estate appraiser. Survived by Mary, his beloved wife of 53 years, daughter Veronica, son Matthew, brother LV Massengale and his wife Pat, and many loving friends. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, May 6, 2015 at 4:00pm at St. Michael and All Angels Episcopal Church 8011 Douglas Ave, Dallas. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Michael and All Angels or American Heart Association . He will be greatly missed but forever in our hearts!
