Obituary

Patrick David McCullough was born on March 26, 1961 in Wichita, KS and was guided to eternal rest after 60 years of life filled with accomplishment, innovation and creativeness in Dallas, TX on June 23, 2021. Patrick was the third of four sons born to his loving mother Patsy (McCullough) Borkenstein and his father David H. McCullough (deceased). After his family moved to Phoenix, AZ in 1962, Patrick attended Royal Palm grade school, Sunnyslope H.S., and then obtained his degree from Arizona State University. He immediately put his education to work and moved to Dallas, TX where he began an accomplished career in the technology field. During this period of his career he also started a family, having two sons, John Patrick (J.P.) and David. His career success led him to pursue entrepreneurial opportunities as his family grew older and Patrick, always full of energy, acted on his dreams and ideas. Throughout his life Patrick had a boundless energy. As he raised his boys and interacted with his nieces and nephews, he created all sorts of fun scenarios to encourage their imaginations and have fun experiences they will remember throughout their lives. In recent years he began journaling his own experiences and often writing about topics stirring his passions. His friendships were always diverse and if you were his friend you could count on his loyalty. Patrick is survived by his two sons John Patrick and David, his mother Patsy and her husband Gerald, three brothers, Mike, Steven and Kevin, cousins, nieces, nephews and many friends old and new. Patrick's family wants to express special appreciation to his close friend Lew Martin who provided him great kindness and empathy throughout the years of their friendship.
