Dorothea Ann Lankford McKeever of Denton, Texas (formerly of Ovilla, Texas) has joined her high school sweetheart and loving husband of 45 years, Reavis Smith (Buddy) McKeever, in God's glorious Heaven. She died after a very long illness at the age of 83 March 8, 2018. Dorothea has been a member of the First Baptist Church, Dallas, Texas since the 1970's. Family members preceding Dorothea in death are her parents, Otto Ray and Ruth Magdalene Lankford; and three brothers, Robert David Lankford, Ray Lankford, Jr., and William Edward (Bill) Lankford. Survivors include a daughter, Laura Ann Mercer and her husband, Stan; and two sons, Robert Steven McKeever and wife,
