Donald R. McKenzie was born 7/19/37 in Bonham, TX to Ace Daniel McKenzie and Annie Elizabeth Lowery McKenzie. He is survived by a daughter Dena Hill of Forney, TX. A grandaughter Holli Almond and a grandson Landon Hill and four great grandsons Jacob, Jayden, Joshua and Jaxson all of Forney, TX. Two nieces Barbara and Nacho Rivera of Mesquite, and Debbie and Perry Whitfield of Bonham, TX. A brother-in-law Jack Burk also of Bonham. Numerous great nieces and nephews cousins and friends. Don lived in Cockrell Hill, TX until 2008 when he move to Forney, TX. He work for 40 years as a Parts Manager in the automotive parts industry. He had a passion for his Harley, working hard, talking about his time in the service and helping people. Don passed away on Sunday September 14, 2014 after a series of falls and subsequent injuries. He was loved by many and will be missed by all. A Memorial Service is scheduled for 2pm Friday September 19, 2014 at Aria IRVING Chapel, 1820 N. Beltline, Irving, TX 75061.
