It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved sister Megan Hong Nguyen, who departed this life on June 21, 2025, at the age of 45.

Born on September 16, 1979, in a refugee camp on Ku Ku Island Indonesia, Megan was the beloved youngest child of Thuc Van Nguyen and Huong Thi Pham.

Megan's family later settled in Oklahoma City, where she received her elementary and high school education within the Putnam City Schools district, graduating from Putnam City West High School.

Her passion for creativity led her to further her education at the Art Institute in Chicago, where she graduated from art school and then later makeup artist school.

Megan shared a loving partnership for eight years with her devoted boyfriend, Zach Tews. Though never married, their bond was a testament to their deep affection and shared life.

Megan will be remembered for her strength, her artistic spirit, and the quiet grace with which she navigated life's challenges.

She leaves behind her two older brothers Cory and Colin, her cherished partner Zach Tews, and a circle of friends and extended family who will miss her dearly.
