It saddens me to announce the death of Micheal John Padgett on March 8, 2025. He was born on February 19, 1950 in Washington DC.

He is survived by his daughter and son in law Jennifer and Matt Parsons, son and daughter in law Joe and Patsy, and son and daughter in law Brandon and Bridgette. And grandchildren Matthew, Wes, Candes, Zane, Bailey, and Savanah, and several great grandchildren.

He is a Vietnam Army veteran, he served from 1968-1971.

He was a Machinist and worked at the same place for 39 years. His hobbies included fishing and camping. He also liked to rewire things around the house and enjoyed reviewing and making clocks.

The memorial service is at 11 am on Thursday April 10 at Oakview Baptist Church 1004 S Story Rd, Irving, Tx 75060 and the honor ceremony is at 2 pm at DFW National Cemetery 2000 Mountain Creek Pkwy Dallas, Tx 75211
