MOELLENBERG, Josephine Jo Moellenberg, age 90, slipped peacefully away from this world, into the arms of God, early morning, the day after Thanksgiving. Jo, born in Dallas on October 20, 1925, as Jo Marshall, was a graduate of Woodrow Wilson High, and attended East Texas State for a year of college. It was then she me the love of her life, Lawrence. They wed on November 18, 1944, and were married for 71 years. Their many friends knew them as Jo and Moe. Jo was a former Dallas model, in the 1940s, and a cake decorator in the 1970s and early 1980s. She devoted herself as a housewife for 71 years, and loving mother for almost 60 years. She was loved by everyone who knew her well. Sue was preceded in death by brothers; Robert, Bill, and David Marshall. She was the last surviving member of her generation. She is survived by husband Moe, and son Bill, and granddaughter Marissa, as well as nieces and nephews Ray, Gwen, and Steven Followill, and Cindy, Steve, and Lyle Marshall. The family expresses a Special Thanks to the 8th floor nurses at Clements Hospital, where they were part-time angels.
