Carole (Nichols) Moore, age 79, was born in Des Moines, Iowa. Died December 11, 2019. Carole and her husband, Jerry, lived in the Richardson/Garland area since coming to Texas in 1959. She graduated from Shawnee Mission High School in Overland Park, Kansas where she had lived since the age of eight, having spent her earlier childhood in the Los Angeles area. Carole attended Kansas State College where she met Jerry. She was majoring in home economics at Kansas State and had a life long interest in foods and cooking, and was an excellent cook. Carole always enjoyed animals and her pets. She worked for the Fossil watch company for 25 years. Jerry, her husband of sixty years, survives Carole. Other survivors include two sons and five grandchildren. In lieu of flowers you can make a donation to the Richardson Animal Shelter or to a local animal shelter of your choice, or the National Wildlife Federation.
