Born on August 30, 1922 and joined his beloved wife Joyce on July 5, 2014. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father and grandfather who retired with 25 years from the Garland Independent School District. He volunteered his talent and time in so many ways, as Troop Scout Master, at Baylor hospital, as an AARP Tax Service volunteer, as Eucharistic minister, as a master Gardner with the Texas Extension Agency and Arboretum docent. He was the type of person that we all hope to become - the kind of person who makes the world a better place. He is survived by his four children, Christine Johnston, Jane McGuigan, Ann Cabrera and David Moore. Six grandchildren Joe, Kevin and David Cabrera, Emily Guy, Elizabeth and Patrick Moore. He was preceded in death by his grandson Justin Reed and the love of his life, Joyce. The Moore family would like to thank Aria Funeral Home for their kind support.
