Johnye Leigh Moore, age 83, of Dallas, Texas passed away on July 19, 2014. A memorial mass will be held at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, August 9, 2014 at All Saints Catholic Church 5231 Meadowcreek Drive, Dallas, Texas 75248. Johnye Leigh Moore was born on April 7,th 1931 to Mr. and Mrs. L. J. Moore of Meridian, Mississippi. He enlisted in the Army at an early age and retired in 1973. In 1959 he married Anne Jolene Pullman (deceased) and to this union two children were born, Derrick Gregory Moore of Austin, Tx and Sharon Kathleen Moore of Dallas, Tx. He is preceded in death by his wife Anne Jolene Moore and survived by his children Derrick Moore, Sharon Moore, and Scott Andrew Pullman. He is also survived by his two grandchildren, Melissa Noble and Ashley Brown of Dallas, Tx.; two great grandchildren, Jayden and Maleah Noble. He leaves a host of nieces, nephews, mother-in-law, sister- and brother-in-laws, cousins, friends, and special sister-in-law Vera Roberts of Arlington, Tx. Mr. Moore will be laid to rest after the committal service with full military honors at DFW National Cemetery at 11:00 A.M., Monday, August 11, 2014.
