Gerard Aubrey Morrow "Jerry" was welcomed into our Lords arms on Sunday, April 21, 2013. Born in San Antonio on March 3, 1939 to Forest D. Morrow and Rachael Palmer Morrow. He is predeceased by his brother Forest "Johnny" Morrow. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Jimmie Lee Morrow of Richardson TX, and their three sons and daughters-in-law: Steven Paul and Angie Morrow of Tyler, TX; John Aubrey and Demara Morrow of North Richland Hills, TX, and Matthew Gerard and Tracey Morrow of Rowlette, TX. Grandchildren: Kellie Morrow Holmberg of Cheyenne, WY, Kathleen Michelle and James Tyler Morrow of Rowlette, TX and Ryan Smith and Conner Aubrey Morrow of North RIchland Hills, TX. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Jerry studied seminary, served in the US Navy and was an accomplished musician. He directed choirs, sang, played, tuned and installed pipe organs. It was while working in a piano and organ shop that he met his wife Jimmie. He spent his working career as an audio visual engineer working with many schools and colleges. Jerry loved photography, especially nature shots and his grandchildren. He was a prolific poet and has two volumes of his work published. Additionally he created personalized custom greeting cards with his poetry and photography for his family and friends. Jerry also enjoyed communicating with his friends and family via Facebook and email. An avid lover of nature, one of Jerrys greatest joys was his backyard pond and his koi fish. Jerry was a deeply spiritual individual and was an inspiration to his friends and family with his faith. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the American Cancer Society. A Funeral Mass will be held at 2:00 P.M., Friday, April 26, 2013 at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church in Richardson. A Rosary and visitation will be held on Thursday Evening from 7:00-9:00 P.M. at ARIA Memorial Chapel in Dallas. Interment Service with full military honors is scheduled for 1:15 P.M., Friday, June 14, 2013 at DFW National Cemetery.
