Mary K. Carpenter Mosher died peacefully in her sleep on June 1, 2013, in Weatherford, Texas. She was born in Plymouth, on Sept. 18, 1921, and was also a former resident of Rochester. She graduated from Plymouth High School and attended St. Marys College, Notre Dame. Mary K. was the daughter of Francis A. and Mildred E. Bergman, also former Rochester residents, who operated the Rochester Laundry for many years. Mary K. married Wilmer Bill Carpenter in Nov. 1947, and had two children, Robert and Kathy. Wilmer passed away on June 9, 1980, and Mary K. married Fred Mosher on June 19, 1991, in Eureka Springs (Holiday Island), Ark., before relocating to Texas. Mary K. was very proud of her family heritage, and was active in the Daughters of the American Revolution for over 50 years, serving as regent in her local chapter in Arkansas. Mary K. is survived by her son, Robert, of Weatherford, Texas; granddaughters, Laura Aquino and Lindsey Carpenter; and great-granddaughter, Avaleigh Bain, all of Wisconsin. She is also survived by her brother, Joe and wife Mary Bergman, of Sneeds Ferry, N.C.; and several nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death was her daughter, Kathy, in 1967; husbands, Wilmer and Fred (2011); brother, Bob Bergman; and her parents. Interment will be in the Oak Hill Cemetery, Plymouth.
