Kenneth "Ken" Robert Murray, of Burleson, Texas passed away on May 22, 2014, at the age of 69. Ken proudly served in the Vietnam War as a Command Sergeant Major for the US Army. Ken was honored with many medals of Honor. Upon Military Retirement, Ken continued into Law enforcement with the El Paso County Sheriff's Office in Colorado Springs, CO. A loving Husband, Father, and Grandfather, Ken was born in Detroit, Michigan. Ken was preceded in death by his parents, Jack W. Murray and Helen H. Schiele Murray. He is survived by his Wife, Joyce Murray; Brother, Thomas Murray & Wife, Donna; Son, Kenny Murray, Wife, Christy & Granddaughter, Terra; Son, John Murray & Wife, Kerri; Step Daughters, Teresa Miller & Husband, Dennis; Angie Waite & Husband, Mark; Step Son Michael Fleenor. Ken also has 8 other Grandchildren and 8 Great Grandchildren. Interment will be held at the Dallas Ft. Worth National Cemetery in Dallas on Friday, June 20 at 2:00 p.m. (Lane "B"). Officiating; Rev. Brian Dierolf of First United Methodist Church of Grand Prairie.
