William "Dean" Nance passed from this earth December 3, 2020 after a long battle with Alzheimer's. He was first and foremost, a family man and was the ultimate loving husband for 62 years to Frankie Hargrove who he married on October 18, 1958. He was "Dad" to Deana Johnson of Austin, Julie Wuthrich (Bob) of Henrietta, and Kay Lynne Gandy (Kevin) of Frisco. Dean was the proud "Grandpa" to twelve grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren. Dean was born October 8, 1937 in DeLeon, TX to William Wade Nance and Ruth Oglesby Nance. He was "Big Brother" to Gerald Nance and the late Avery Nance. Dean retired from the US Postal Service after a 33-year career and spent his retirement years traveling, working on his farm and around the house, as a realtor, and spending time with his family. He was a Wichita Falls resident for 57 years and attended Grace Church before moving to Tulsa, OK in 2015. A service for Dean is not planned at this time. The family asks that memorials be made to a hospice care facility or other charity of your choice. Please leave the family condolences and share memories on this website.
