Nelda Joyce (Lemon)Norris

July 12, 1937 - March 3, 2025

Nelda married her husband Bob Norris in 1957 and they went on to have four children, four grandchildren and 2 1/2 great grandchildren. Nelda derived the most joy in her life from spending time with her family and teaching her Sunday school classes for over 20 years. In her later years, she continued to spiritually mentor various friends. For almost 20 years, Nelda and Bob were directors of the Hospitality House in Huntsville, Texas where they ministered to families of inmates, and touched many lives. After Bob passed away in 2015, Nelda continued to mentor and this gave her sense of purpose even when she became housebound.

Nelda completed her earthly journey on March 3, 2025, and entered her heavenly home to begin her REAL life. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends, but we cling to the blessed hope of eternal life in Jesus Christ our Lord.
