Robert Newell Newberry, 81, of Arlington, Texas passed away on January 4, 2016. Robert is survived by his wife of 54 years, Carole Jane Newberry; children, Lynne McDaniel, spouse Jim, Paul Newberry, spouse Tina, Alyssa Klos, spouse Joseph, Rachel MacLeod, spouse Matthew, and Daniel Newberry, spouse Amanda; grandchildren, Dalinda, Matthew, Robert, James, Garrett, and Benjamin McDaniel, Dakota Duran, Savannah and Austin Bruce, Lilly and Peyton Klos, Olivia, Caroline, and Luke MacLeod; brother-in-law, Mike Roberts, sister-in-law, Gayla Roberts; and last, but not least, miniature schnauzer, Gretchen. Some of Roberts hobbies include visiting inmates to talk to them about our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, reading, fishing, watching the Dallas Cowboys, NASCAR and Fox News and he also enjoyed walking. A visitation will be held on Sunday, January 10, 2016 from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm at the Aria Irving Chapel. Burial with military honors will be on Monday, January 11, 2016, at 1:00 pm at the Dallas-Forth Worth National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Parkway, Dallas, Texas 75211.
