Norma Valles, The Queen of Mariachi Music, who captured the attention of countless North Texas Fans, from singing National Anthem at a Mavericks or Texas Rangers game to singing at your local wedding. Her beautiful smile and golden voice touched the heart and soul of many people.
Norma had an impact so deep one day at a Mavericks game while singing the National Anthem, David Albert wanted to become her Mentor. From that day on, they were a team that just kept on giving. David then brought her in to the studio and they went on to record 9 albums plus Si Se Puede CDS to help the Spanish community to learn English.
From there David continued his blessings by asking her to manage, which then to become owner of Casita Tex-Mex Bar & Grill, which is still standing to this day. They also had a love for the veterans, from welcoming the troops at DFW to now honoring our veterans every First Tuesday of the month at Casita Tex-Mex. She also used her voice to bring live Music every Saturday Night to Casita Tex-Mex.
Norma was not shy to try new things. While owning a restaurant she continued with a good friend of hers, Don Herring, to start flipping houses. She then realized she loved remodeling and fixing up homes. So, she continued that and then went on to open her own business and becoming General Contractor for her business NV Contractors.
Throughout everything, she has medals for her 40 plus runs ranging from 5Ks to full Marathons and even a Sprint Triathlon. During all her accomplishments she always made time for her family and friends. She blessed the lives of many and will continue to bless us with her music and businesses.
