Norma Young, age 84 of Garland, TX graduated to her heavenly home on May 11, 2023. She was born on September 28, 1938 in Jackson Co., OK to the late Lester and Mary Parker. She married Charles C. Young in 1954. Survivors include her children, Rita Young Ilseng of Garland, TX, Rick Young of Rocky Ford, CO and Margo Young Bedford and husband Edwin of Port Charlotte, FL; grandchildren, Question Young Parrish and husband Zach of Rocky Ford, CO, Brian Young of Ricky Ford, CO, JonBedford of Monument, CO and Donovan Ilseng of Garland, TX; great grandchildren Garhett Bruna, Colton Bruna, Jackson Parrish and Kade Parrish; brother, Curtis Parker of Edmond, OK, sister-in-law Shirley (Young) Hagemeier and husband Ralph of Pueblo, CO; special friends, Leota Cox of Rocky Ford, CO and Steve Rudolph of Rocky Ford, CO She was preceded in death by son, Charles C. Young, Jr. in 1966 and husband Charles C. Young in 2008. A Celebration of Life will be held at 10:00am, Saturday, May 20, 2023 at The Victorious Church in La Junta, CO In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Ralph Hagemeier Ministries.
