Born to Benjamin Burciaga & San Juanita Melendez of Piedras Negras, Coahuila Mexico.

Loving wife, mother and grandmother. Enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She loved to cook for her family and travel on vacations back to Eagle Pass and Mexico to visit family. Born in Piedras Negras, Coahuila Mexico. Moved to Eagle Pass Tx with her husband to raise a family. She raised 4 children and eventually moved to Farmers Branch Tx making that their home. Attended Mary Immaculate Catholic Church. After her husband's passing in 1978, she and her children moved to Plano Tx.
