Following the completion of his journalism degree from the University of Washington, Robert Osborne would go on to establish himself in the film world as both a journalist and a presenter. Starting by working with young performers at Desilu Studios, he would go on to make many cameos and small rolls on popular television shows, and writing an influential column in The Hollywood Reporter, eventually becoming the well known nightly host of Turner Classic Movies.
