Beverly (Candy) Ann (McCallum) Owens, age 66, passed away peacefully on July 12th, 2017, at Baylor Grapevine, after a long struggle with heart complications. Candy was born September 18, 1950, in Dallas, Texas, the daughter of William (Bill) McCallum, Jr. and Joann (Penny) McCallum. In 1967, Candy married the love of her life, Ronald Joe Owens. Butch and Candy just celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on May 5th, 2017. Candy was a member of Oak View Baptist Church in Irving, Texas. Candy is survived by her husband Ronald Owens; sister Debbie and her husband Rodney James; brothers Joe Bill McCallum, Sandy and his wife Karen McCallum; son Chris Owens; daughter Denise Owens; grandchildren Hailey Owens, Darian Hutchins, and Ashton Owens and a number of relatives and close friends. Candy is preceded in death by her parents Bill and Joann McCallum. Visitation will be held at Aria Funeral Home in Irving, TX, July 16, 2017, at 4:00-7:00 P.M. Funeral services will be held at Oak View Baptist Church in Irving, TX, on July 17, 2017, at 1:00 P.M., preceding Open Casket Viewing at 12:00 P.M., followed by reception.
