Patricia (Patty) Lynn Brandle was born on November 30th, 1941 and passed away on November 26th, 2023 at the age of 81 surrounded by her family. A San Antonio native, Patty graduated high school and began working at Southwest Research Institute as a Secretarial Assistant where she met Judy Brandle. The two became close friends and it wasn't long until Judy introduced Patty to her twin brother, Charles David Brandle Jr. It was love at first sight. Patty and David were married at Trinity Episcopal Church in San Antonio on May 30th, 1964. Throughout their lives together, Patty and David relocated several times. Living in states like Indiana, Texas, California, and New Jersey. No matter the location, Patty had a knack for making anywhere feel like home. Together, Patty and David have two wonderful children, Wendy and Christopher, whom they love with every fiber of their being. In her free time, Patty enjoyed reading her novels, spending time with her children and grandchildren, sharing endless stories and laughter with her sister, Nancy, shopping trips to Macy's and Dillards with her lifelong friend, Judy, ordering "only the essentials" from QVC, and completing any puzzle she could get her hands on. There wasn't a puzzle she couldn't finish. After David's retirement, he and Patty returned to where their love first blossomed, the state of Texas, to spend the rest of their lives in each other's company. Patty is survived by her sister, Nancy Freeman and her husband, Phil; daughter Wendy Grant; son Christopher Brandle and his wife Dana; grandson Connor Grant and his wife Taylor; granddaughter Bryn Grant; sister in-law, Judy Brandle and brother in-law, Rick Brandle; extended family members and dear friends. While Patty is no longer with us, her kind demeanor, infectious laugh, and unconditional love will forever live on in the memories of those whose lives she touched. A service of worship, celebrating the life and faith of Patricia Lynn Brandle was held in Shipp Chapel at Lovers Lane United Methodist Church on November 30, 2023 at 4 oclock in the afternoon - on what would have been Pattys 82nd birthday.
