Patricia Jean "Patty Jean" Corn, 90, passed away peacefully on June 7, 2025, in Carrollton, Texas. Born on June 3, 1935, in Clinton, Iowa, Patricia was the cherished daughter of Thomas and Dolores Lynch. She was the cherished wife of Richard Corn, with whom she shared 66 years of marriage. Together, they raised four children: Rick, Cathy, Rob and Caroline. She loved her grandchildren Mackenzie, Sam, Nikola, Tedi, Jonas, Grant, Parker and great grandchildren Grady and Hallie and played an instrumental role in their lives. Pat's love extended to her siblings, where she is survived by her brother, Tom Lynch, and sister, Marsha Hayes. Her sister, Sheila Moore, and brother, Gary Lynch, preceded her in death.
Patricia touched countless lives through her compassionate career as a respiratory therapist serving pediatric patients at Cook Children's Hospital. Her nurturing spirit, sweet nature, and thoughtful care comforted numerous children and families throughout her dedicated career.
Her involvement in the cystic fibrosis clinic demonstrated her commitment to community and her unyielding compassion for children and families.
Patricia was known for her strong and graceful demeanor, traits that endeared her to all who knew her. Her creativity, passion for antiques, and love of travel were a source of joy for her and her family.
Above all, Pat dearly loved babies and children, generously sharing her warmth and kindness. Her legacy will be one of boundless love and compassion, remembered forever by her family and everyone whose lives she touched.
