Patricia Ann Leatherman, age 86, passed away peacefully in her sleep on May 28, 2022 in Plano, TX. Born in Rogers, AK on February 14, 1936 to Woodrow and Agnes Rutledge, Pat graduated from Big Spring High School in 1954 where she was a majorette, and played first chair clarinet. A few years after high school graduation, Pat married the love of her life, Ronald Glen Leatherman of Levelland, TX in Levelland. Together with their two children, the couple lived all over the United States during Ron's 20 plus year career with the Department of Justice. In the 1980's and before retirement in the early 1990's, Pat enjoyed a rewarding career as a social worker in Big Spring and Lubbock TX. Pat had a talent for decorating and her family always enjoyed her great cooking. She laughed easily and often and loved spending time with family. Survivors include son Gary Leatherman of Plano, TX (Gina), daughter Kelly Stovall of Gainesville, GA (Jeff), brothers Tommy Rutledge of Horseshoe Bay, TX (Pat), Russ Rutledge of Big Spring, TX (Jeannie), sister Linda Rutledge of Midland, TX, and three grandchildren.
