Elizabeth (Betsy) Hyde Patterson, age 78, of Washington DC, Port Washington, NY and Dallas, TX passed away on November 12, 2013. Betsy was born to Mary Johnstone Penniman and US Navy Captain Ralph Underhill Hyde in Coronado, CA on November 8, 1935. She graduated from Sidwell Friends High School in 1954 and earned her Bachelors of Art from Cornell University in 1958 and her Masters in Occupational Therapy from Tufts University in 1960. She was married to Albert Allen Patterson for 51 years, who died on June 29, 2011. She is survived by her sister Mary Millard, her brother, Ralph Hyde and her children, Christopher Patterson (Boca Raton, FL), Mariquita Gordon (Dallas, TX), Jonathan Patterson (Wilson, WY) and grandchildren, Mackenzie and Mariel (Dallas, TX).
