Hilda Lili Penagos was born on August 29, 1932 in Guatemala City. She passed away on August 12, 2018 in Fort Worth, Texas. She grew up on Guatemala City and was raised by her parents, Margarita Cruz and Angel Jimenez. She worked as a secretary at a law firm and moved to Dallas, Texas in 1985 to be close to her family. Hilda was an humble person; sweet and funny and she loved her children. She was also generous and patient and gave to her home country by feeding the poor in Guatemala. She was preceded in death by her husband, Guillermo Penagos in 1998. She is survived by her children, Mario Penagos and wife, Patricia; Maria Penagos; Olga Silva and husband, David; Gilda Constanza Levy and husband, Rafael; Thelma Carranza and husband, Victor; Luisa Escobar and husband, Mynor; Julio Cesar Penagos and wife, Andrea; Juan Carlos Penagos, and wife, Myra Garcia; Luis Alberto Penagos and wife, Yvonne; 23 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. A visitation will be held from 4:00-6:00 P.M. on Saturday, August 18, 2018 at ARIA Memorial Chapel.
