To know Philip was to love his enduring spirit to meet his daily challenges. Always seeking friendship with most everyone he met along his walk in life. He was a Euless resident for 64 years, 61 of those in the same house. He worked for Southern Maid Donut Shop, Bonanza Steakhouse and Winn Dixie Grocery. Philip looked forward to volunteering at the Euless Arbor Days each year, he participated in the neighborhood block watch, he enjoyed pet sitting, he loved all animals and they loved him. He enjoyed music, movies, electronics, gadgets and fireworks.

In kind, the neighbors, the community, the church, gave him guidance, called on him, cut his hair, shared meals, gave rides, gave him odd jobs, remembered him at Christmas, birthdays, took him fishing and to Dallas Cowboy games. The family thanks all of you, you know who you are. Philip loved his independence and wanted to be in charge of his life.

Philip was a member of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, confirmed May 13, 1971.
