Diana Jay Pierce September 27, 1946 -October 13, 2014 Beloved sister, mother and grandmother, Diana Jay Pierce went to be with the Lord on October 13, 2014. Characterized by a sweet smile and gentle spirit, Diana dedicated her life to generously serving those around her with great love. She especially delighted in her three precious grandchildren: Madden, Violet Grace and Nicholas. She also found joy in caring for her dogs Pugsley and Daisy. A woman of steady faith, Diana enjoyed volunteering for "Tres Dias" women's retreats and participating in her weekly Bible study at Woodcreek Church in Richardson, TX. In her free time, she would cheer for the Dallas Mavericks or spend time journaling. A devoted wife, Diana is now reunited in heaven with her husband, Gary Wayne Pierce Sr, who passed away on January 21, 2006. She is survived by son Gary Jr and wife Leslie Pierce, son Jeffrey and wife Lesleigh Pierce and son Mark and wife Erika Pierce. Born in Dallas on September 27, 1946 to Shirley Brown and D.J. Wilson, Diana was the oldest of six children. She will be missed and remembered by her siblings Sharon, Lisa, Kim, Toni and Jay along with many nieces and nephews.
