Vera L Priebe, 91, was born in South Haven, KS, in 1922 to Harlan and Nellie Gile, the tenth of fourteen children. She passed peacefully after a long battle with cancer. She was preceded in death by her husband Leslie A Priebe. Vera is remembered by her family for her indomitable spirit and her ability to make everyone she touched feel loved. Vera was a resident of NW Oklahoma City for more than forty years. A Celebration of her life was held on 4/21/14 in the Chapel at Custer Road United Methodist Church, 6601 Custer Road, Plano, Tx. She will be buried in Oklahoma City on May 10, 2014, at 11:00 AM, at Resurrection Memorial Cemetery, 7801 NW Expressway, OKC, OK. She is survived by a son, Leslie A Priebe and his wife, Virginia of Plano, TX; a daughter, Janice L Helsper of Safety Harbor, FL; three granddaughters: Kara Brown, Kelli Armstrong, and Morgan Massie; and five great grandchildren: Tristan, Megan, Hunter, Avery, and Jasper, all cherished by her.
