David Stephen Quilici was born on July 10, 1943 in Tacoma, Washington to the late Joseph Dominic Quilici and Mary Stella Quilici. He passed away January 4, 2018 in Plano, Texas. He was 74 years old. David grew up in Tacoma, Washington with his brother, Joseph Anthony Quilici. He went to high school at Bellarmine Prep. He graduated from University of Puget Sound in Tacoma with a degree in Business Administration. He was a member of the Theta Chi fraternity. He worked for the Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railroad for 35 years and retired as Vice President of Marketing in 2001. David was a golfer, avid reader, loved watching sports and going to the casino. He enjoyed traveling with his wife to various places including to Japan, Hawaii, Alaska, Italy - and taking yearly vacations with his entire family. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. He was outgoing, witty, never met a stranger, and had a very dry sense of humor that everyone loved. He cherished the time he spent with his 2 grandchildren, Luke and Olivia, who affectionately called him "Bubba". He was so very proud of them. He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Dominic Quilici and mother, Mary Stella Quilici. He is survived by his beloved wife of 45 years, Beverly Ann Dickey Quilici of Frisco, Texas; Daughter, Angela Rose Presley (Brandon) of Frisco Texas; Son, Anthony Stephen Quilici of Dallas Texas; Grandchildren, Luke Thomas Presley and Olivia Rose Presley of Frisco, Texas; Brother, Joseph Anthony Quilici (Judi) of Tacoma, Washington; Nephew, D. Chad Quilici (Kristen) of Normandy Park, Washington; Niece, Brienne Quilici Iverson also of Tacoma, Washington; and numerous cousins, extended family members and friends who loved him dearly. Services will be held Friday, January 12 ,2018 at Prince of Peace Catholic Church 5100 W Plano Parkway Plano TX 75093 with visitation beginning at 10:00 A.M. and Funeral Mass to follow at 11:00 A.M. David will be laid to rest at the interment service at Ridgeview West Memorial Park 7800 Sanctuary Drive, Frisco TX 75033. There will be a reception immediately following at the home of Angela and Brandon Presley - Frisco, Texas. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Prince of Peace Catholic Church or School (Plano, TX) in memory of David S. Quilici or charity of your choice.
