Christopher Joseph Ramirez was born on April 22, 1980 in Munster, Indiana and passed away on April 25, 2017 at his home in Plano, Texas. Chris grew up in Crown Point, Indiana where he graduated from high school in 1998. While at Crown Point High School he competed with his golf team at the state level. He moved to the Dallas area soon after high school where he has lived for nearly 20 years. Chris was a communications specialist for Windstream Communications. When he wasn't working, he could be found playing pool with his many friends. He was a highly decorated pool champion, competing at a national level in the BCA and ACS leagues, and competed in Las Vegas. He was currently captain of the Dark Horse team, and has played on 51 teams since 2008. Preceded in death by grandparents Geronimo Ramirez, and Harold and JoAnn Irwin. Survived by his parents, Joseph Ramirez (Lisa) of Corinth, Texas and Mary Beth Herr (John) of Cape Coral, Florida; sister Rebecca Martin (Ryan) and their children, Ainsley and Noah; step-sisters April Matis, Renae Matis and Rebecca Webb and their families; grandmother, Ramona Ramirez; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Visitation will be from 6-8:00 P.M. on Sunday, April 30th at Aria Memorial Chapel located at 19310 Preston Rd, Dallas, TX 75252. Memorial Service will be held on Monday, May 1st at 11:00 A.M. at Northside Baptist Church, located at 2000 N Denton Drive, Carrollton, Texas 75006.
